Alex Eaton – President and Founder
Alex Eaton has been a property manager and a real estate investor since 2005. With a background working with Fortune 500 companies, his goal at EIG Property Management has been to design and execute systems that maximize investment property income while maintaining excellent service for tenants and owners. Prior to forming EIG Property Management, Alex worked as an Analyst for Accenture, Plc. In this capacity, he worked on consulting projects for Nextel, Dynegy, and Sprint. He also worked as Financial System Administrator at Target Corp. Alex received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin, and his M.B.A. in Finance from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota.
Laura Schulte – Regional Property Manager
Laura has over eight years of Property and Hospitality Management experience. At EIG Property Management, she is responsible for financial success, building integrity, employee management, and overall company operations. She directly manages a small portfolio of properties in our care. Laura is a key player in our business development, and has a strong knowledge of our company from the inside out. She has studied Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality Management at Saint Paul College, and has experience in low income housing.
Tim Foster – Maintenance Manager
Tim has over 20 years of experience in building maintenance and improvement. As EIG’s licensed contractor, he manages our maintenance technicians and building improvement projects. He uses his skills, experience, and well trained staff to assist in the upkeep of our properties. He is also EPA certified, and a licensed engineer.
Brooklynn Williams – Property Manager
Brooklynn directly manages and oversees several hundred units in St. Paul. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls in May 2020. She has a degree in BioMedical Sciences and graduated with honors.
Nick Kukurich – Property Manager
Nick started with EIG in 2018 as a Field Assistant Property Manager. Through his hardwork and dedication, Nick now manages a large portfolio of properties, primarily in Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park and St. Louis Park. Nick’s background includes sales and marketing, and a degree in Business Management from Hamline University, where he was also a student athlete.
Harrison Kanfer – Property Manager
Harrison is the newest member of our Management Team. He directly manages and oversees several hundred units in St. Paul. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in May of 2019 with a degree in Hospitality Management. Harrison comes to EIG with management experience in both hotels and restaurants.
Dani Hamilton – Office Manager
Dani has over 25 years of office management and administrative experience. She oversees accounts payable and receivable, tenant ledgers, property insurance, utility accounts, rental licensure, vendor data, and many other duties to maintain a smooth-running office.
Patrick Connelly – Finance Director
Patrick Connelly joined EIG Property Management as the Finance Director in December 2020. Prior to joining the company, Patrick worked in finance for 12 years at UnitedHealth Group, Target, and USBank, with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis. Patrick received his B.A. in Accounting/Finance, Communications from Saint John’s University, and his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

EIG Property Management does a great job at getting maintenance done quickly.
EIG is good to rent from. They send emails with pertinent information to tenants, so you can stay informed. They also do a decent job of responding to maintenance requests, although I would recommend being very clear about your desired results with any requests you make. They are timely responders, though, which is very helpful as a tenant. Units are decently priced and have good appliances. Attractive units in my building.
As a previous contractor I got to really know most of the management staff. They operate with professionalism and go above and beyond for their tenants. Nothing gets fixed the “quick” way. Some of the best paint jobs I have ever seen.

Have rented from EIG for almost 2 years and have never had issues with management or maintenance. If something needs to be fixed it’s normally done in a timely matter (unless they are backed up with requests). Bonnie is by far the most professional, friendly, understanding and compassionate Senior Property Manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with. So for anyone paying attention to the lower star ratings, It’s quite simple: be a respectful neighbor, pay your rent on time and you won’t have any issues- in fact, you’ll probably find that whole experience is rather enjoyable 🙂 Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the greater twin cities area.

I’ve been a tenant for a year and a half and I love my apt. And the management. They fix things promptly if you file a claim and they’re understanding if you find yourself in a bind. Property manager is very friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone apartment searching.
I love that I could pay my rent online. Every time I had a maintenance concern it was handled timely. I like the new owners, but I’ll miss EIG.
I have rented with EIG for 3 1/2 – 4 years ! It continues to be a positive experience. EIG has done a great job selecting quality tenants; who will in turn become my neighbors at the 4-plex in which I reside. I never have to worry about damage or, theft of property in our shared basement. We all communicate and get along well together! Of course EIG have always been professionals in the property management industry i.e.: easy to reach, quick response to issues/ repairs, courteous etc..
